OM is driven by God's unchanging truth in the Scriptures: mankind has lost its way and is separated from the fulness of relationship with the Creator of the universe. Consequently men and women today are alienated from one another and societies seem bent on destruction. No one has grounds to believe that today's humanism will provide lasting answers or solutions. Thus modern man is "without hope and without God in the world" (Eph.2:12).

But God so loves the world - us and our neighbors - that He has sent His Son as the personal atonement for our sins. Jesus Christ's offer of salvation to every human being opens the way for a new relationship not only with God but with one another. The uniqueness and power of this Gospel - Good News - is evident throughout two millenia and around the globe. And Christ has commissioned every one who trusts in Him to take this life-changing (and therefore hope-bringing) message to the ends of the earth.

The core principles of faith and obedience, willingness to sacrifice, readiness to submit and serve, courage to dream and take risks, and an open door to any believer for involvement have stood the test of time.
