Making music in India

OM International

A team of four from Heart Sounds International, a music ministry of Operation Mobilisation, are visiting the Indian megacities of Hyderabad and Calcutta to teach courses on biblical and practical aspects of worship to select members of the Good Shepherd Community Church Movement (GSCC). GSCC was started by OM India to include low caste and Dalit-Bahujan believers who have recently turned to the Christian faith.

Most of the pastors and musicians attending these seminars are first generation believers. For many of them, this will be their first opportunity to participate in a concentrated course devoted solely to worship. They will learn what the Bible says about worship and how to conduct times of worship suiting their culture and the needs of their congregations.

Please pray for the team as they travel and teach from 10-23 February. Ask the Lord to make these sessions a great blessing to many maturing Indian churches.
