Just outside Brussels, in a town called Zaventem, OM has an internationally used conference facility called ZavCentre. ZavCentre provides up to a full board stay for missionaries travelling through, OM groups meeting, local Christians and others. Our center has around 35 beds and 5 small and large meeting rooms. Besides the conference center, OM wants to help the local church in reaching their purpose for Christ. We are looking for several technically skilled people to help us in our headoffice building/vehicle maintenance and repair team. Painting, carpentry, plastering, electricity, plumbing, car mechanics, … We can use anyone with those or more skills. We definitely need a mechanic, a plumber and a carpenter. We focus on both maintaining our building and vehicles as well as specific projects. We are currently in a phase of rebuilding our whole property for more office and accomodation space.

A 200-year-old Mill in Mosbach, Germany has been converted into a conference centre which is home to OM Germany.
Join OM Germany’s motivated team to maintain the Mill and ensure everything runs smoothly. You can use your experience and practical skills as an Electrician to maintain the electrical systems, such as the fire-alarm and telephones or the installation of new electrical appliances.
Fluent German is essential for this role.

- Bus Driver/Evangelism - Big Red Bus Team
The Bus driver will be responsible to take the bus and team to the different venues. The driver will also be responsible for the general maintenance of the vehicle (working with another experienced person) and the safety of passengers. The Bus driver will, of course, have opportunities to get involved in practical evangelism and planning of the programmes as part of the team.

An additional 1st Engineering Officer (Reg III/2) is required for the Logos Hope AS SOON AS POSSBILE. The preference is for someone to join us long term, but any length of time may be helpful.

The 1st Engineering Officer is accountable to the Chief Engineering Officer for conducting efficient watch in the machinery spaces whilst at sea, duty watches in port and for the general running and day-to-day functions of the Engine Department.

The Chief Engineering Officer is responsible to the Master for the safe and efficient running of all the ships machinery and technical systems, excluding those items of navigational and fire-fighting equipment, which come under the Deck Department.

- Pipe Fitting Welder
We are looking for a qualified welder with welding and pipe fitting experience especially in the marine environment (desirable but not necessary). Together with a helper you assemble, weld and install pipe systems and related materialssuch as pipe supports, transition sleeves, fittings and auxiliary equipment.
You will ensure proper reporting of variations in due time with special attention to critical processes taking place.

Do you like to see things implemented and worked through? This role is all about implementing logical plans together with the Event Manager. It includes organizing venues for events, hospitality, catering, as well as organizing transport, technical, health & safety and other support services.

- Grounds Personnel
We need one person to help us maintain the beautiful grounds around the site at the UK National office in Shropshire, and to work on external projects around the buildings. This will involve grass maintenance, gardening and large shrubbery maintenance.
Supervision will be provided by our maintenance manager. This is a part time role; someone with DIY skills who is interested in serving full-time could use the rest of their time helping the maintenance dept.
